Merry belated Christmas everyone!! 8D So how was your christmas? Mine was fairly normal because I just hermit at home all day and did work XD Much to my chagrin, Xmas eve turned out to be a super crappy day :( You can't believe how much shit could churn up in just a day! But I had extremely yummy sushi for dinner, (after fighting the traffic on the road, in the parking lot and in front of the restaurant! Never go out to shopping malls on Xmas eve guys!!) which made my day that much better!! :)

I took pics, but because it's with my phone camera and it's refusing to connect with my Windows Vista, you don't get to see them, sorry :(

I didn't go out on Xmas itself to avoid the Xmas crowd, I don't like places with too many humans XD; So I stayed at home and worked on stuff, completed and concluded the Xmas event on my Breedable shop on Gaia (which from now on, I will refer to it as The Lab, as in, 'laboratory') so I feel very productive, though there are still some shit that I need to clean up due to irresponsible people, but it's alright. Optimistic view people!!

On an unrelated note, lately I felt like my housing area had turned into a farmland of sorts. o.o;; It started out with COWS appearing in my neighborhood, which frankly... was the first time ever in the 23 years I lived here!! There's a football field next to my row of terrace houses, and they would sometimes graze there. Once when I got back from home there was a stray cow in front of my house, I had to wait for it to move away so I can park my car. Then just last week a herd of 10+ cows were crossing a street so I had to wait in my car until they all finish crossing o_o;; Chickens had always been a norm around this neighborhood, some people keep them as pets. (the smaller, petite kind with pretty tails) But last week I heard a weird, loud crow outside the house and found... TURKEYS??!!! O_O;;; There's only 1 male one (the ones with fanned tail) and about 4-5 female turkeys. The male one was HUUUGE!!! D: *never seen live turkeys until now* I wonder what else I will see later? Goats? Sheep? XDD I will take pics of the cows/turkeys when I can 8D

New Years is just a week away~ Anyone have any new year resolutions?? :3 Mine would be...
1. Lose weight (I gained alot in the past month, honoes!!)
2. Draw at least 2 artworks every month 8D
That's about it XD; Let's see how well it goes lol!!

Change

Just recently, I realized my music taste had changed somewhat. I used to really really love alternative rock, Linkin Park, My Chemical Romance, Nickelback, Hoobastank etc. I still love them, but lately I've been listening to a lot of techno of various types. Postal Service, (all thanks to Chibiying) Tiesto, Lady Gaga. And finding a liking for softer, more relaxing tunes, like Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat's music.

Maybe my music taste had changed, I don't know. Then I started to ponder upon the topic of 'change'. I realized... that nothing stays the same. People change, emotions change, music taste could definitely change. Comparing myself to when I was in college, I changed quite a bit. The way I dress had changed, I used to like punk-styled clothes and hoodies, but lately I found myself going for the cute stuff instead. I used to wear sneakers and sandals, but now I wear 3 inch wedges. I used to survive only on 2 pairs of shoes, now 4 pairs doesn't seem enough! Just a couple months ago, I don't see myself moving out of this house until I got married, or moving in with a future boyfriend. (XD;) But now I'm entertaining the thought of moving out with Chibiying next year. I've never thought of having a cat before, (dog maybe yes) but now for some unknown reason I want one. D:

Then I started to noticed other people's changes. Relationship changes, interest changes, physical changes. Makes me realized that very much can change over (sometimes, very little) time.

Just last month, A childhood friend posted an old class photo on Facebook, it was taken 12 years ago when I was 12!! The memories!! XD Then through this simple act alone, (and people tagging each other) I reconnected with a bunch of old friends and classmates, some that I haven't even seen for 12 whole years!! And boy how much had changed since then, everyone looks so different now, I don't think I could recognize them if I saw them on the street! Some even got married and already have kids!! OMG WUHT??!!!?!

Everything change, but I believe that some things doesn't change as drastically as others. For me, feelings doesn't change as easily, my gaming taste haven't changed since I gave up RPG, (that was since college) my art style, though (hopefully) improved a little, haven't really changed much. I'm still money-minded. 8| I still love One Piece!

Maybe change is a good thing, it's a sign that we are slowly growing up. Although whether we are slowly maturing or de-maturing is debatable. XD;; But dude, I have far too many single friends. You guys, when are you going to find someone and get married??!

Lately I don't seem to have alot of things to write here. Hence the temporary abandonment of my poor, dusty LJ, ahaha. *wipes dusts* Room still needs cleaning and refurbishing, I am still in need of money, I am still drawing, still watching House, watching Dexter and I am still designing logos.

Quicksilver Cleaning - You may had seen another version in my other post. This is another version where the client asked for a version with a lightning bolt.
VELL - Tried to do some more corporate logos, failed somewhat, but it's just a practice XD
Excellence - Tourism group for Scotland. I incorporated their national flower (thistle o.o;;) into a fleur-de-lis, since it symbolizes royalty.
Astedsfoto - Crime scene camera crew, I think it's obvious why I use the yellow tape :P
pickacaption - Kinda like a caption site? People post photos and people write captions, that sorta thing.
joegreen - They make solar roofs.
ForeclosurePreventionAngels - Damn that's a handful to type. They are good people who help prevent your house from foreclosure.
Evergreen Waste Solution - In a nutshell - Garbage pick-up company. Hence the rubbish bag with leaves.
Financial Design - Financial group, sunrise at the bottom of the bars symbolizing future growth.
Vuitz - This is somewhat of a sad story. I kind of forgot to check the ending time, and completely missed the deadline, sobs. It's for a video player I think, like realplayer and VLC.

Lately a lot of my chat topics revolve around relationships, falling in love, and deaths. Odd topics. But if I were to ever die young, I would want people to play this song at my funeral. I just think it's appropriate, you know? I really like the lyrics and the message it conveys, awesome video as well :) Besides, I don't want my funeral to be awfully gloomy, ahaha!

Here's hoping that I will have many more days to treasure, creating more memories, achieving my goals, and falling in love again.

Dad: Hey look we got a new LCD TV!!
Me: Yeah, and it looks like the old 21 inch CRT I have in my room!

My dad has a sense of humour even in dire times.
Twas a dark night, and the lightning was fierce. Fierce enough to fry our trusty 29" CRT TV and our brand new wireless modem we bought earlier this month. My brother can't turn on his new desktop PC too (that was bought along with the modem) so they had to check if the lightning dealt any serious damage to it.

There goes my plan on swapping the 29 incher when/if my dad buys a new TV for the living room. :( And there goes my plans to play Godfather 2 on my Xbox in my room during the holidays too Q.Q Oh sky, you were very cruel to us lately!!

If you've been following my DA journals (which I think you don't o_o) my left eye abrasion broke all out open again and costs more to see the doctor this time compared to last, orz. (I fucking spent over RM500 for the abrasion already wtfffff) Doctor was worried about corneal erosion, but it doesn't seem to be that serious yet. However, from now on I had to be on strict eye lubrication for a few months until it completely healed. The doctor says it might take up to a year homg!! o_o But yah, I had to be on eye lubrication until my eye fully heals and retain back it's original working condition like my trusty right eye.

I have to apply artificial tears every 2 hours and use this lubrication gel on my eye before I go to bed. I wonder how much do they cost? Since I probably have to rely on them long term T__T (the artificial tears have to throw after open for 12 hours, the lubrication gel have to discard after opened for 1 month) Still not quite used to sleeping with one eye super damp though. Feels kinda itchy occassionally too. My eyelashes also feel wet and sticky all the time due to the eyedrops that I need to apply. But over the course of this ordeal I had learnt how to control myself from rubbing my eye even if it's irritating. Be gentle!

Seriously people, PRESSURE IS NOT GOOD FOR YOUR EYES!!!! Just blink and wash your eye with water when it's irritated.

My left eye power increased too, gaaaah!! Need new specs!! I almost forgot that I need to renew my road tax next month!! NOOOOOOooooooo!!!! More $$$ down the drain sobsobs... Positive thinking Kyou, positive thinking!! At least next month dates the final installment I need to pay for my car. ;-; New specs, car installment, road tax, new sports shoes.... WHERE IS MY NEXT PAY CHEQUE??!?!?! TAT Still need to work out the room layout with my dad... ugh.

A day of play and relaxation

I managed to go from mid 63 to 66 in WoW in just 3/4 day!! Woohoo!! 8) Finished Hellfire Peninsula (leveled from 59 to 64 there noshit!!) and finished Zangarmarsh from scratch after. Feels accomplished in that aspect, seeing that I haven't really been playing since a week before I go to Japan. *rusty* Though the super long rest bar helps too >__>;; Terokkar next!! Or maybe I should go directly to Nagrand? o3o

GTA4's next expansion : Ballad of Gay Tony is coming out in late October! So is Windows 7 oh dear. D: And Sims 3 expansion in November... Good thing they postponed Starcraft 2, holy crap! I would go poor so fast!!

On an unrelated note, this week is Henry Golding's last week hosting 8TV quickie. :( I am a sad panda. He is my favourite 8TV quickie host because he is soooo cute (and hawt) and has an adorable British accent ♥ I saw him by chance before at a Face to Face restaurant, he is soooooo HAWT HOMG!!!! DX I will miss him... :'( They better find a hotter and better host to replace him!! x(

Since coming back from Japan, I've been kind of in an art rut, instead I've been having alot of inspirations for logo design =w=;;

Lava Sciuga Apparels - One of their key concepts is 'bigger than life'. So I tried to show that through the logo.
Pond - For a website about pond care??! o_o
River City Solutions Group - Abstract word mark of "RC", trying to use the river to create the word mark.
Quicksilver Cleaning LTD - For an apartment cleaning agency, simple enough. :)
Cloudrop - Simple enough concept to reflect the company's name :)
Cranston IT - An IT company focus on creating apps for the iPhone. Hence the abstract apple.
Juicebox Media - Game production company producing flash games on Facebook. I was thinking ala "Playfish". But they want more 'techy' look, ah well XD;
Scout Charlottesville - I think this is like... an antique jewellery shop? (the brief was kinda vague) They noted about the use of antlers, hence my design.
The Fanaddixx Group - An artist appreciation website. The client loves the logo, but their target audience is not musicians-only. Includes dancers, writers and artists too. Ah well, I'll probably enter it again when there's another contest about music pops up :)
SS19 Security - Lol >___>;; This was done upon CEO's request. Since I have free time at work at that time... I kinda like it actually. See which one he choose lor (I submitted 2 options and another designer did one) Maybe I'll reuse the concept for another contest in the future.

The return of DNA

The unethical con-man boss strikes again!! Remember the 20 reasons why you should never work for DNA post? Well, I have new points adding to it!

1. Finally Alan reviewed and confirmed someone!! After dragging for 2 months (so that your 'probation period' is 8 months) he finally decided to give poor little Kassim a petty RM200 raise! Not without a price though!!! Apparently, you have to pass a 'test' in order for them to confirm him. What is the purpose of this 'test', I have no idea. I mean, Kassim worked 8 months for them and they don't know what are his capabilities?? Srsly??!!? Or did he take Kassim's modeled car to put online for sale? :| So yeah, Kassim was sick on that unfortunate day with flu and fever, but he still needed to take the test anyway... alone, in the meeting room, with no internet, on a lousy laptop, and stuck on said 'test' from the morning until late at night. What humane employer would keep his SICK employees so late for a stupid pointless test??!?!

2. Celine, my ex-producer in DNA, along with her boyfriend Eugene filed a report to EPF for cheating us of our EPF funds. (EPF = retirement funds, it cuts a certain % off of our salary every month and the company has to contribute a certain % too outside of our salary to contribute to our retirement funds account) EPF is a STRICT requirement for anyone that is working under fulltime (or sometimes even part time) employment. Oh EPF did looked into it, albeit very slowly, how typical of Malaysian working pace. However, they closed the case without even notifying Celine! They only found out when they went to the office to check. The verdict? Apparently they did approached Alan, but Alan LIED to them and told them that we are freelancers and are working on project basis. Basically denying our employment back then!!! That motherfucking son of a bitch!!!!! He also said that we come and go to work as we please, work according to our own working hours. Worse of all, EPF BELIEVED HIS BULLSHIT although Celine had a clear black and white contract stating that she is a full time employee!!!!

In conclusion, this ignites the RAGE in us so much, that I am DOWN in getting that fucking company pay us back the money that we so deserve!! Apparently EPF is suspecting Celine and Eugene to be lying and making up stories because it is just the 2 of them reporting. So we are trying to get all the DNA rejects together to make our report and file our complaint. I'm not sure how much help I will be though, since I'm pretty sure I left my last paycheck receipt/slip in the office when I was packing up to leave. So at most I have 2 paycheck slips as proof. I don't even have a contract -__-;; Sigh.

Now if only I could find my last 2 paycheck slips... >__> Remember the pictures I took of my room back then?? Well it looks like this now... There is also am empty bed where my brother used to sleep that is located right opposite this desk. It was empty earlier this year save for some pillows and stuff. But now it looks like this.... >__>;;

I NEED TO CLEAN UP!!!! AAAAAAAAHHH!!!!! I need new furniture... Thinking of getting a bed like this, like the one Gure used to have for my room. So I could have more storage space T_T;; The books I bought from Japan still don't have a place to put yet... as you could probably see in the picture with the bed...;;;

Finally, after a whole week and a little bit more, I finally finished the epic job of selecting and editing 300+ photos, uploading all of them, and typing the 12-page travel blog about it!! Every blog post averages 1000-1500 words too!! *exhausted* But I am glad that this is finally over XD;; That really took longer than I thought.. orz. Link to the blog!!!

Today, I witness the biggest mistake a waiter could ever make, and it was highly amusing that it actually happened in Pasta Zanmai! I thought that place have better quality workers, hmm. Anyways, my dad had quite a few small winnings from Magnum 4D lately, so he wanted to treat us to some good Japanese food. So I took him to Pasta Zanmai since he haven't ate there before. We ordered 4 main dishes and 4 drinks. We gobbled up the food happily and asked for the bill, I didn't actually went through the receipt myself, but I was surprised how incredibly cheap it was, considering what we ordered. My dad didn't actually went through the list himself either, since he dunno the names of the dishes >__>;; We originally thought they forgotten to include the gratan or something, since we ordered that in the middle of the meal. So we completed the payment and walked out quietly. >.>;; After that I went through the receipt myself when we're walking to our next destination. It turned out... THE BILL WASN'T OUR'S LOLOLOL!!!!! There were too little items, and I definitely don't remember ordering any desserts XD;; Well, dad already paid, with credit card some more... so we just laugh it off as a joke, lol. Not sure what happened to our actual bill, and not sticking around Pasta Zanmai to see it either >__>;;

On a semi-related news, my agonizing tongue ulcer is killing my appetite as well as my sleep. =n=;; I woke up from my sleep 2 nights in a row because of the pain, argh! Yesterday night at 3am, I had to numb it with an anti-bacterial mouthwash. But I still have nightmares about ulcers after that, grah! The mouthwash is having a lasting numbing effect on the rest of my tongue though, it feels kinda weird when I was having lunch today D: Stupid ulcer is too far in and situated underneath the tongue, sometimes I wonder if the mouthwash even reached it...

I best go to sleep though, I need enough sleep for the ulcer to heal >__> Here's hoping I won't wake up from the pain again tonight.

Finally watched Transformers : Revenge of the Fallen yesterday. And to be honest, it really sucked compare to the first one :( Now I'm not saying I hate it, but I'm just not satisfied about how it turned out. I have to agree with Haru on the 'slut' factor, 95% of the girls in this movie (even the ones in posters) all looked like hookers. They all look so 'made up' and all of them are all oozing of sex. I still like Megan Fox though, although a lot of her sexy scenes were rather unnecessary XD; The first scene when she's on the bike = HAWT!! And they should probably just stop there. o_o There was also alot of dirty jokes/sexual innuendo in this movie, which reaaaaally downgraded the movie ALOT!! Made the movie so much cheaper -__-;;; Also, as much as I appreciate the human acting parts, there needs to be more transformers scenes too. And lesser amount of transformers please!! There were just too many transformers running around!! Too many unnamed Decepticons. Although, I like Jetfire :3 I think Jetfire had as much screen time as Optimus Prime, lol. XD

And wow, is it me or is Optimus Prime reaaaally extremely brutal in this movie??! In the last movie he was portrayed as a very self-righteous uhm... robot. However, in this movie it looked like all his attacks were meant to kill, even swearing in fights o__o;; Which, I'm not really comfortable with actually...;;;

Neways, I'd give this movie a 7/10 because it's still an enjoyable watch. I would probably watch it a 2nd time just to go with my family :3 My brother wants to watch it too.

Nuvert - Manufactures high-end and exotic furnitures, wanted something with minimalism approach, so this is what I came up with!! :3 I'm currently ranked #1 omgsohappy!!!! TvT
iTeabar - I did quite a few versions for this because it's kinda fun!! XD Very creative name too! Currently ranked 4th, but the client haven't saw some of my new designs yet, hopefully will rank higher :3
Pure Space Design - Consolation, still in judging period. The letter P, S and D are represented in square block format. The idea is that space of a house is ultimately broken down into square foot units.
Bumbalina Asia - Just another newer, simpler version. Though I gave up on this already because the current leading entry is really good ^^
Julie Fielder - This client, is really odd. These designs are rather 'meh' and I think I lost interest already.
Antonio Valente - Another troublesome client, encouraged designers to copy the #1 person's work because he's not 100% happy with it yet. Didn't rank, so blaaaaah. Not caring anymore either.

I think I should stop designing new logos and start drawing instead tomorrow >.>;;;

Observe this historical moment, as I've been listed as a client's first choice in a Logo Tournament contest!!! *cries tears of joy* TvT Now observe how I'm going to be kicked off that position tomorrow, ROFL!! Clients can rank entries when the contest is still on-going, but the final winner is only chosen when the contest ended. So the end result may differ sometimes :)

On an unrelated note, I went Tun Hussein Onn National Eye Hospital yesterday for a reaaaaally irritating eye pain. Found out that I have an abrasion/scratch in my left cornea that's causing all the pain and irritation. Apparently there isn't any dusts or foreign objects in my eye, as I've suspected before. I ended up with a contact lens in my left eye only, to cushion/protect the scratch from blinking motions that may irritate it. I'm feeling better now, although I still don't like the feeling of having a contact lens in my left eye >.<;; The procedure I hate most when I went to see the specialist, was when they put it in my eye!! x( *doesn't wear contact lenses*

I also have 4 days medical leave! Woohoo!! Okay time to rest me eyes.

Mixed feelings, but HURRAH!

MY OLYMPUS DIGICAM IS FOUND!!!!!!!!!
So I actually misplaced it at my friend's house a couple weeks ago during a sleepover 8D;; No wonder I can't find it at my home lol!! So I'm going to go to her house next weekend (since this weekend I'm busy) to pick it up as well as sleepover again. 83 I'm glad that I found it and I didn't need to splurge anymore money to get a new one, since it's one of my major worries lately. But at the same time I am a bit sad that I can't get a new digicam. I really liked that Nikon L100... oh well, maybe I could still get it in the future when I have more money :3

Since a while ago I was participating somewhat actively on this website called "Logo Tournament". It is as the name implies, a venue for designers to compete against each other in logo design. Clients will set up a winning price for designers, the final winner will receive the complete amount. It's quite an effective website I must say, clients don't need to deal with moody designers and wait for the designer to take their own sweet time to design. Some of these contests receive up to HUNDREDS of designs!!

So here's 10 that I did, although I haven't really won yet ^^;; There are alot of really good designers on that website!!

Antonio Valente - the contest is still ongoing, ends in 2 days. Slim chance to win though, but if you never try you'll never know :3 Logo for men's wear.
Arizona Property Wholesalers - I ranked, but didn't win either. So just a small consolation :3

Casino Club - One of my personal favourites!! Too bad it wasn't what the client wanted, didn't rank either ^^;

I recently lost my digicam, and I needed to get a new one somewhat urgently because I'm going to Japan in August!! It's a blasphemy to visit that place without a camera!! I was already tight with cash saving for the trip, then I realized that I still have some MSD stuff left behind that I almost forgotten about. So I decided to sell them to scrunch up a bit more cash for the new digicam.

Please excuse me, I don't have photos of the actual product because my camera is lost :( The item prices are negotiable.

Only used during exhibits like Comic Fiesta. Recommended for exhibits and photoshoots. Not recommended for everyday use XD;

In... *counts* 3-4 months? I finally finished 4 seasons of House from the first episode!! Damn, I thought 4 seasons would last me longer than this... D: I guess 3 days of cramming/multi-tasking while I work on a freelance job really burnt through the episodes pretty fast. Especially when I developed a habit of watching a show while painting after that too. Overall comments? I think House has become my favourite TV series of all time now!! Beating Criminal Minds!! Favourite season is Season 3, although I think season 4 has a better finale!! So sad sobs. :'( Pea you have my season 1 dvd, watch it now!! DX

I NEED SEASON 5!!!!!! DX What am I gonna watch when I paint now?? ;__; Hmm, I think CBY has 24, maybe I can borrow from her while I wait to get House season 5... >__>

I went to Pyramid to survey and check out digicams yesterday, because I heard the Fotokem shop there has a promotion, which is a lie!! 8C The dude however, was pretty helpful. I'm currently in love with this camera!! It's a Nikon Coolpix L100, it looks like a mini DSLR, but it's actually a super-zoom compact camera! They let me try it out at the shop and I LOVE IT!!! Shoots macro wonderfully, clear photos even with my shaky hands, (which the photo usually turns out blurry 80% of the time) 15x zoom with clear results too!! I zoomed to the shop opposite the Fotokem shop and took a picture of it's interiors 8DD It's pretty easy to use too, unlike most of the coolpix series with a touchscreen LCD instead of your regular buttons! Now I find myself hoping that my Olympus wouldn't show up... until I get this baby at least >.>;; But the other side of me is mourning for my excessive expenses. I guess I just need to work harder with doing commissions :( NO NEW GAMES FOR ME UNTIL I FINISH ALL MY XBOX360 GAMES!!!! DX

AAAAAAH 40 days until JAPAN TRIP AAAAAAAAHHH!!!! And I haven't even got the visa yet, nor a luggage bag! NOR DO I HAVE A CAMERA!!!!! *PANICS*

I must visit this cafe in Pavillion sometime SOON!!!! The food looks amazingly delicious 8Q___________ And I've been craving ice cream for a while already too. Believe it or not, I've never been to Pavillion, because it's such a pain to get to, being situated in the middle of the city without any public transport going there... =n=;; *refuses to drive in KL, esp the area around Pavillion* But finally I have a reason to go there ♥

Add that to the existing list of the RT pastry house and Cuppacake Cafe. Outing? People? ;u;

B-but... I'm not going anywhere with delicious food without a camera!! 8< My Olympus is still missing, and these few days I've been wanting to take pictures too. You won't appreciate it when you have it around, but when they're lost, only you'll realize how important they are... sobs. I don't know where I lost it, that's the problem -__- I just couldn't find it anywhere!! The last time I 100% remember seeing it was in Lina's house, although I am quite sure I brought it to the Pasta Zanmai outing too. Waaargh!!! I think I'll get a new one if by middle of next month it's still missing... *sigh* Thinking of getting the Nikon s60, although I'm not quite sure how good it is as of now. Need to do more research. Their ad campaign is hilarious though!! And slightly creepy XD;;

Body's condition - left knee still hurts, but got new symptom!! My left eye hurts too, like... it feels like I got something buried under my eyelids. It hurts like hell in the mornings when I woke up, just imaging a dust or hair in your eyes but 5x more painful. After a while it's not so painful anymore, although can still somewhat feel an irritation in the eye all day.

Good news is, my knee doesn't hurt today even after a full day of shopping yesterday!! Well, at least it didn't get worse, so I think I should be fine in Japan in 2 more months, if the knee pain is still there. Bad news is, the knee pain is still there.

Good news: I bought new shoes!!
Bad news: I think I lost my barely 2-year old Olympus digital camera. Couldn't find it anywhere.
Good news: I think I should get a new one, never really liked my Olympus much anyway. Nikon next?
Bad news: WHERE GOT MONEY TO GET??!?!?!! Not to mention I'll need a camera for the Japan trip.

Exercising my ability to babble

For the last few days, my concentration were largely focused on a freelance job provided by a friend and marathoning House episodes. The job is due in 7 hours time, and I probably just need 2 more hours or 2 more House episodes to finish it. Yey for being early for once!! o/ I've also sped through the latter half of House season 2 and speeding through season 3 now XD; House is awesome!!

The good news is, I've recovered from my Gastritis and stomach problems! But the bad news is my knee problem is getting worse. I need to constantly stretch or move it, if I keep it bent for a long period of time, like say, when I'm stuck eating in a cafe or restaurant that doesn't have alot of leg space under the table, my knee would feel like it's gonna snap off when I stand. Just mild annoyance when I walk though. I'm suspecting a ligament injury, but I can't recall when exactly did I injured it... =n=;; Probably going to see a Dr later this week if it persists.

I conclude this entry with a meme that I've probably done before. But I really need a break from my work and House XD;

1. Who or what has been your biggest influence?
This is a tough question. There had been a lot of factors that influenced me. But I think my biggest influence is actually not someone, but something. I've always been big with art since I was little, drawing, tracing, copying. But the discovery of manga really changed my life, and my wallet of course! XD Without manga, I probably wouldn't be drawing now still, or went to art college at all. Manga art kept me attached to the world of art and design, although I do delve into some other medias now, like motion graphics. Manga-style drawing is still a big part of me that I'll probably never let go.

2. What country would you want to live in, if language and money weren't a barrier?
Obvious and cliche answer - Japan. XD; I thought of other places, Europe even. But I think I'll never be suited in a laid back country, although I am somewhat laid back nowadays. Japan have enough entertainment and bumbling city life to not make life boring. They probably also don't have as much illegal immigrant workers like Bangladeshies and Indos that scare the crap out of me. Plus, I love Japanese food ♥ Owning my own little cafe and doing freelance work for a dating sim game company = perfect!! *dreams*

3. What's your dream job?
I think I replied that partially in my last question ahahaha. I talked about owning my own business a while ago right? I'm thinking of having my own cafe in the future. I'm not sure where yet, if local I think it may be in Subang Jaya the Inti college area. I've also thought of going overseas, somewhere peaceful, like Europe, or even USA. But those are not likely to happen XD; Then I would do some little freelance jobs here and there when I have the time. OR, I could always settle as an artist for a Japanese dating sim game XDD;; I think my drawing style is suitable for those, lol!!

4. Whatever happened to Virens and the rest of your characters like Rem?
Virens is still around lol. Rem, I kind of 'lost' him. After a lot of contemplation, I decided that I lack storytelling skills. I can come up with world concepts and stuff, but my storytelling is really lacking. Which is why the whole Craziel project will most probably never happen. Virens will remain the grouchy fishman that he is, and let me dress him up all pretty when I feel like it.

5. What's the first original character you ever made?
Uhm... lemme think. The very first original character that I ever made in my life would be that stickman character I created when I was in primary school when I was... 11 or 12? I drew a series of comic strips of him!! 8DDD *shot* But if you're speaking of an ACTUAL original character... like someone that I put thought in and developed a personality. It's probably Virens!! 8D;; My very first and my only!! (I don't think the characters from mo mo cha counts since that was a parody of existing characters, lol. Although that one was done when I was 15)

It is 2am, and I am awake, typing this entry. I actually slept at 11pm because I was thoroughly pooped. But my stomach discomfort earlier proved to be something else other than just a regular stomachache. I am having gastroesophageal reflux again. -___-;;; In other words - severe heartburn.

I don't have any medicine for heartburn since it doesn't happen very often, usually once a year or longer. *only had it twice so far* The last time I had this it was serious enough that I need to lay in a hospital bed for 3 days. Reasons for this to happen? I think my new work is really messing up my health. Due to the work schedule, I had to readjust my breakfast time from 8.30am to 7am. (1.5 hours difference yikes) I tried packing breakfast to work but it's proving to be even worse because my eating time fluctuates from 9am to sometimes 10am. But due to the extended period of time that I don't eat in between, (6 hours difference, 7am-1pm) since new office doesn't have a pantry, I sometimes have to starve. Bad move Kyou, bad move. Lunch is pretty regular timing, though once they drag until 2pm since everyone was busy. Dinner time is even worse, it used to be at 8pm in January, but since my last job the time had been fluctuating like none other. It ranges from 8pm to 10pm sometimes. I tried to readjust to 7.30pm lately, but it's proving to be a difficult task. I thought I could skip my 5pm meal since I eat half an hour earlier than usual, but it's proving to be detrimental to my stomach.

I think the final trigger for this gastro reflux was the heavy meal yesterday. I knew ordering too much is going to cost me, but I felt bad not having to finish the delicious food. So I stuffed myself silly, another bad move lol. Self reminder next time, let the DBKL finish the job or just waste it even if it's delicious. =w=;; It's alot better than spending another few days in the hospital or suffering from this extreme discomfort that doesn't allow me to sleep. I thought my stomachache was from the ladyfingers that tasted weird I ate during lunch today, but that doesn't seem like it. It could be the lychee too but I had dinner before that, hmm...

Self reminder, now your meal times are:
7am - Breakfast
10am - Snack
1pm - Lunch
5pm - Snack
8pm - Dinner

Eat small portions, don't stuff yourself. It's going to be a difficult task resisting this when I go to Japan, sobs. Oh, note to the other 2 going with me to Japan. I'll probably also need to stick to this mealtime too when I am there. So please bear with me ;-;

Uuuuuuugh, I can't sleep like this. I think I'll go make some brown rice cereal meal to fill up the stomach for a bit. It actually helped me feel better after I got discharged from the hospital last time. Maybe I should have that for breakfast tomorrow morning too =w=;; Tomorrow's work is gonna be hell for me if I don't get anymore sleep soon. OTL

A streak of bad luck

So it continues from Friday onward!! (when Photoshop died) Monday, first day of work, office toilet broke lol. Had to go down 9 floors to use the public washroom which is quite a bit of distance away. :( Then my girly sandles broke!! DX It's only 7 months old!! (although I do wear it to work quite often) Today, not only is the office toilet remain broken, even the public washroom broke!! I'm not sure what's going on, but they locked it from 3pm onwards. :( Before work is over someone came to fix our toilet finally though, phew!! But by the end of the day, my Nike sports shoe broke!!! A piece of the sole is peeling off! DX Wrrrrryyyyyyyyyy??!!?! Seeing that I only have like, 4 pairs of shoes... one that would probably kill my feet, I guess I'll have to wear my hobo sandles to work tomorrow... -__-;; I need to bring my sports shoes to a cobbler 8( Anyone wanna go girly shoe shopping with me? ♥

I also realized that I could live without the Xbox, and even live without WoW. However, I cannot live without Adobe softwares... ;__; It seems like I only want to use it the most when it is unavailable, damnit. Apparently when I last installed Adobe CS3, it left some registry in my computer that is preventing me from reinstalling it... ~___~;; So I guess either I get a CS4 or I get individual standalone versions instead of the suite... I guess I'll just have to work on Adobe-required jobs in the office tomorrow *doodles*

Good news about the $300 though!! My aunt finally managed to locate where it went! Thank God!! XD;; Bad news is... dad is probably gonna drag me to the AmBank HQ sometime soon so that we could work on getting my money out of a supposingly deficit account. You can count on Malaysian company's efficiency to cancel/close an account!! Oh yeah!!!

Finally, after so long, I had finished Grand Theft Auto IV!!!! XD

So in the end I didn't got 100% because I am just not that obsessed at the game. Did 199/200 flying rats and I'm not assed enough to go look for the spots one by one again to find that stupid last pigeon, nuh uh. x( Also didn't do unique jumps because I hated those in previous games, did everything else though.

In my opinion, this has got to be the best GTA game I've played thus far. Not just the awesome graphics which is indeed, very awesome for a GTA game, but also the story of the game. I can see why Rockstar is so proud of it! When I say 'story', I guess it also means character development. They really busted their ass building Niko's character!! It's unlike all other GTA games where the main character is a mindless super minion that eventually becomes the next mafia boss, Niko is very complicated. He is a sarcastic, spiritually broken, depressed, angry, and one hell of a fucked up bastard. He kind of reminds me of Dr House, even the facial stuctures, thin long face. Only Niko is not so skinny and not as outspoken as House. XD;; Also, Niko is Russian!! In some sense, I guess Niko really hates what he does and is a sad and lonely person inside. The ending of the game (either one) is also very sad too... :'( I was hoping he will get a happy ending after all the shit that he went through, but I guess that was not meant to be... /wipes a tear

Other than Niko, all the other characters are very memorable too, unlike in past games where you eventually forget certain characters. The twisted dynamics of the McReary family is very intriguing, I like hanging out with Packie because he keep talking about his family's twisted past when he and his brothers grow up. But I gotta say my favourite 'friend' is gotta be Little Jacob!! XD Not only he sells you discounted weaponry after he likes you enough, the way he talks is very amusing XD He's also the one with most yi hei (kinda means loyalty?) and will help you out when you need it the most.

My favourite car has got to be the Infernus!! (it's a sports car that looks like the Lamborghini Murcielago) It's fast, sexy, and overall the best car in the game!! You get one from doing some missions with a very gay aerobics guru who has a political figure as his boyfriend. He's fantastic, I love that character so much because he's so flamboyantly gay XDD Back to the car, yeah I went on an Infernus collecting spree after I got my first yellow one. (still has it, had not repainted) I wish I can have a Lamborghini IRL... 8( But these cars costs a million ringgit, YIKES!! *dreams*

Lastly, my favourite mission has got to be the bank robbing one with the McReary kids!! 8D I had so much fun with that one!! I wish I could replay that mission :( So in overall, I think the game is fantastic!! Love Niko!! Love the Infernus!! But I don't think I'll be revisiting Liberty City anytime soon XD;; The game just takes too damn long to complete, lol!! I think the story missions alone would take about 30-40 hours? There IS an achievement if you could beat the story mission in 30 hours, so I'm not saying it's going to be quick, lol.

Maybe I'll start playing The Lost and The Damned expansion when I feel like playing GTA again, but for now, I think I'll lay off GTA for a while and play some other games :3 Like Suikoden Tierkreis!! I'm at the part where I visit the Scribe's village!! Things are getting interesting, oooooh! o0o

Aside from gaming, it has been quite an eventful few days for the past 2-3 days. I was expecting the week before I start working again to be a breeze/relaxing week, but alas, life is not so simple. Yesterday morning my Adobe softwares that I installed using one DVD (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and Flash) all died on me at once for unknown reasons. I installed them in February and it had been fine and dandy all this while. But yesterday Photoshop and the others just couldn't start up, no response at all. Illustrator is the only one I didn't crack properly, so it was running as a trial version. It's the only software that gave me an error message, something about my licensing expired?? (the trial haven't even finished yet, wtf) I tried reinstalling, but Vista just gives me the component failure and refused to let me install again. :( So until this is resolved, there probably won't be any art from me for the meantime, aside from sketches, or until I learn how to use GIMP properly... >__>;;

Then today I realized that I may have lost $300 from my Paypal. THREE HUNDRED FUCKING US DOLLARS!!!!! And it's totally my fault!! I'm about to crack my head on a wall!!! DX I haven't panicked like that in a while, but I called Paypal and hopefully they can relocate my $300 for me :'(
